HARDLINE MEDIA proudly presents VNV NATION for their long overdue return to Australian shores. VNV NATION, also known as Victory Not Vengeance, is a British/Irish Electronic music group formed in London, the brainchild of Ronan Harris who fronts the band as singer, songwriter and producer. Ronan Harris was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, where he was exposed to electronic music via radio. He developed an interest in bands such as KRAFTWERK, DAF and THE HUMAN LEAGUE. In 1983, he joined a band named Die Fabrik, whose punk-inspired noise and synth style didn't land well in Dublin. This led to Harris moving to London in 1989 where he began composing under the name of Nation, then modified to Victory Not Vengeance, to then become VNV NATION. VNV NATION's earliest releases were inspired by middle-era EBM acts such as NITZER EBB and FRONT 242.
