Taste the Biosphere

Spend a Saturday afternoon at Sunshine & Sons’ distillery in Woombye for a free celebration of the people, produce and places behind the Sunshine Coast Biosphere. Local food producers will be offering tastings, and there are guided nature walks, soundscapes and storytelling, plus crafts and activities for kids. It’s an all-ages event, so bring the whole family. The timing isn’t random: November is Biosphere Month, and the Sunshine Coast is one of the places UNESCO recognises as a biosphere reserve. Entry is free, but you’ll need to register for tastings, tours and activities, and places are limited. The full program comes out closer to the day. Presented by Sunshine Coast Council with the University of the Sunshine Coast and Sunshine & Sons. Parking is on site. Bring a water bottle.
