In this playful, hands-on workshop, participants will create rosettes and badges as bold expressions of celebration and personal storytelling. Drawing on traditions of adornment and award culture, the session invites you to reimagine these forms as something personal, humorous, heartfelt and adorable. Using ribbons, textiles, and found materials, you’ll learn simple techniques to construct layered rosettes and use a badge-making machine to create collaged buttons. Whether celebrating an achievement or something beautifully ordinary, this workshop makes space for it all.
