QAGOMA: Vipoo Srivilasa Express Yourself

Big feelings take centre stage at the Children’s Art Centre at QAGOMA, where Vipoo Srivilasa: Express Yourself invites young visitors to explore emotions through colour, movement and play. Created by Melbourne-based, Thai-born artist Vipoo Srivilasa, the vibrant exhibition encourages children to think about how they feel in different moments – from the nerves of the first day of school to the joy of winning a tricky game. Through a series of hands-on making activities, digital interactives and sensory experiences, kids are invited to draw, dance, pause and even engage with different scents as they discover new ways to express themselves. A highlight of the exhibition is the return of Vipoo’s Garden of Love activity, first introduced in 2021, alongside new interactive elements designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
