PARKER Contemporary is a contemporary art gallery located in the Fish Lane Arts Precinct. Founded in 2024 by Emily Parker, the gallery is a five-minute walk from QAGOMA, State Library of Queensland, Queensland Museum and QPAC. The gallery presents a focused program of exhibitions, artist talks, public programs and art fair presentations, representing emerging and established artists whose practices bring fresh perspectives to contemporary art in Australia. With a specialist curatorial focus on printmaking and papermaking, PARKER Contemporary supports artists working across expanded approaches to image, object, process and materiality. As a commercial gallery, PARKER Contemporary actively places works with private and institutional collections, offering collectors and curators informed guidance in acquiring significant contemporary works.
