Josh Silver: Fruit Fly

Mallory’s got writer’s block – and she’s had it for seven years. All she wants is to resurrect her literary career, so she does what any sane person would do: she hits up Reddit. Armed with her new knowledge of how to write a bestseller, she meets Leo, a young sex worker and addict, and decides to tell his story ... without telling him. What could go wrong? Crackling with wit and insight, Fruit Fly is a razor-sharp yet compassionate take on the ethics of contemporary publishing. Brisbane Writers Festival is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council.
