Tucked down Sugar Cane Lane off Waterworks Road, Arcade Wine is a charming and intimate 24-seat wine bar and bottle shop that has become a beloved haunt for Brisbane’s westside oenophiles. Owned and operated by Italian-born WSET- and AIS-certified sommelier Danilo Duseli, the venue is styled as an enoteca – a traditional Italian wine repository where bottles, food and conversation intertwine. After a brief stint operating a second location in Redcliffe, Danilo has returned Arcade Wine to its original Ashgrove home, where locals quickly welcomed the cosy bar back with open arms. The red-hued interior – lined with mirrors, greenery and shelves stacked with bottles – offers candle-lit ambience inside alongside a handful of laneway tables outside.
